Don’t Be Worried; Your Tox Vial Isn’t Empty!

It’s completely normal for a tox vial to look empty. Most tox comes as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder, not liquid. The active ingredient appears almost as dust at the bottom of the vial that gets mixed with sterile saline before use. That microscopic powder still represents hundreds of units.
